How to Make
- For this lantern you will need two paper plates
- Cut the middle out of the first plate and paint it orange or whatever colour you choose.
- Cut a circle of tracing paper and stick this on the inside of the plate.
- Now with the other plate cut off ¼ from one side.
- Cut a circle of the metallic card and stick to the inside trimming in line with the cut out.
- Paint the back of this plate too.
- Once dry stick strips of ribbon to the bottom of the plate and sandwich them by sticking the two plates together.
- This will create a small gap in between the plates where you can place your lights.
- Create a hanging handle out of ribbon.
- Decorate with leaf stickers.
